Hello and welcome to the Terms of Service for The Ampersand Review of Writing & Publishing.
The Ampersand Review of Writing & Publishing (“The Ampersand Review”) is a literary magazine published by the Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing & Publishing Program at The Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning (“Sheridan”). We publish poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction; features about the publishing industry, including interviews; and book reviews.
By accessing, browsing, or using the site and associated domains of theampersandreview.ca and theampersandreview.com on web, mobile, and other applications (the “Site”), you accept and agree to these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). We may amend the Terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to review the Terms each time you use the Site. Please exit the Site immediately if you do not accept or agree to our Terms as well as the terms of service of our third-party service providers. In these Terms, “we”, “us”, “our”, “The Ampersand Review” or “Sheridan” refers to The Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, and “you” or “your” refers to you as the browser or user of the Site.

We may email you with messages about your order or account activity. For example, we may email you to tell you that:
You’ve created a Customer Account.
Your Customer Account password has been reset or updated.
You’ve made a purchase.
Your order has shipped.
It’s not possible to unsubscribe from these messages.
We share your contact information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can send these emails to you on our behalf.

sales, delivery, and return policies
Sales of The Ampersand Review are final; no returns will be accepted. If you feel there has been an error with your purchase, please contact ampersandreview@sheridancollege.ca.
The Ampersand Review is available for purchase online during sales periods advertised on theampersandreview.ca. Payments are processed at the time of transaction. Magazines will be shipped via Canada Post at the close of the sales period. Payments are made through Stripe only.

All content, designs, graphics, pictures, illustrations, software, artwork, video, sound, names, words, titles, phrases, logos, and marks displayed on the Site are owned by us, its licensors, or the party accredited as owner, and protected by Canadian copyright, trade-mark and intellectual property laws, and treaty provision laws. You may not share links to protected assets.
You shall not, without our prior written permission, use the Site for purposes other than your own personal, non-commercial use. Further, you may not frame the Site or any part thereof on any internet website. You acquire absolutely no rights or licenses to the Site other than the limited right to use the Site in accordance with the Terms. termination

governing law
