Niko Stratis

Niko Stratis is a multi-award winning writer from Toronto by way of the Yukon, where she spent years working as a journeyman glazier before coming out as trans in her 30s and being forced to abandon her previous line of work. Her writing has appeared in publications like Bitch, Catapult, Spin, Paste and more. Her upcoming debut book, the Dad Rock That Made Me a Woman is expected in May 2025 from the American Music Series at the University of Texas Press. Niko is a cancer, and a former smoker.
