Temporary Palaces: A Novel by Jeff Miller

House of Anansi, 2026.

Beautifully told and deeply immersive, this novel follows Alex, Rob, and Ben as they navigate life between 2001 and 2011. From Vancouver to Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, their lives remain intertwined through the punk rock scene as they balance friendship, ambition, and their hopes for the future. The narrative shifts seamlessly between different times and places, keeping you engaged and constantly on your toes, and the writing is so magical that it evokes a nostalgia for a time, place, and experience you might never have known yourself.
