Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer
Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer is the bestselling author of All the Broken Things, The Nettle Spinner and Perfecting, as well as, the short story collection, Way Up. Her most recent novel, Wait Softly Brother, was recently nominated for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. Her short fiction and creative nonfiction can be found,in many journals, including Granta magazine, The Walrus, Hazlitt, Maclean’s and The Lifted Brow. Her fiction has been short listed for the Amazon First Novel Award, the ReLit Prize, and The Toronto Book Award. She has been nominated for Canada Reads and has won both a Danuta Gleed Award and a Sidney Prize. Kathryn holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and is a faculty member of the Fiction MFA at the University of King’s College, Halifax.
